The future is in front of us and that means a lot of challenges and possibilities. One can only speculate on what will happen over the next 10 years. A number of current international trends and major social problems that will shape the future can already be discerned, although the scope for surprises is significant.

The two major processes we see right now is globalisation and the increased demands on existing laws. IRGO can play a key role in understanding and shaping these processes.

IRGO´s approach can be likened to a journey towards a far off land and requires that IRGO travel together with others, to focus the activities so that IRGO can face the challenges and opportunities. By travelling together, IRGO has the advantage of utilising a broad range of skills and knowledge. Together we will make great strides of progress with many contributing to the overall effort. Like any major journey, sometimes we disagree, but we agree to continue to keep moving in the same direction.
